Origins
Joe Haas, the Proprietor
Joe began his painting career shortly after graduating college. What started out as a means to make money and attend music festivals, he fell in love with the process of craft mastery. Joe started Paint Cincy in 2019, then known as Haas Painting and Houseworks as a means of providing a good life for his young daughter and to help amplify everyday beauty in the homes of his clients.
After the death of his father, Joe stepped away from the world of painting to explore some creative interests and find a new way to continue those creative pursuits while better providing the high quality service his clients came to know and love.
With the new brand of Paint Cincy (@paintcincy on Instagram and TikTok), Joe aims to deliver exceptional residential (house) painting to the people in the Cincinnati area. His aims remain the same: deliver exceptional service, provide for his family, and integrate creativity into all he does.
Fun facts: Joe is a professional musician who most recently performed as 7 Hills Poet with his band The Rusty Halos at MOTR Pub in downtown Cincinnati. To follow his music and artistic journey, give his page @7hillspoet a follow on Instagram!
Who is
Painter Pig?
Painter Pig retired from his time as a model, on display at the corner of 5th and Main, and dedicated his life to the indelible art of architectural painting. He began his career apprenticing under local artisans and craftsmen, learning the ins and out of substrate coatings, and flew to new heights as the beacon of quality home contracting.
